Year of the Nurse and Midwife
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared 2020 the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, recognising the valuable contribution of Nurses / Midwives to the health of people everywhere.
As part of this, ESPNIC want to celebrate the value of the nurse in Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive care. Our members do an incredible job every day of the year and we want to showcase this. We want our members to feel valued not only by ESPNIC, but also by their multi-disciplinary colleagues and the patients and families we care for. We also want to highlight why nurses love working in PICU and NICU and promote a career in PICU and NICU.
