Paediatric and Neonatal Mechanical Ventilation Course in collaboration with experts of the Respiratory Failure section of the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care.
Sheffield, UK in 30th of March-1st of April 2023
The course is for consultants, junior doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, nurses working in PICU.
The course is structured in 2 parts:
30th of March 2023 – Train the trainers day (for candidates interested to become instructors).
This day is aimed at candidates with instructor potential and will focus on the core material and teaching method. The Day 1 candidate instructors will be encouraged to observe the faculty members deliver the course content on days 2 & 3 with a view to becoming faculty on future courses (there is a time frame of 2 years to complete)
The fee for 30th of March is 300 GBP.
31st of March -1st of April 2023 – Mechanical Ventilation Course
The fees for the course from 31st of March -1st of April 2023 are:
· 400 GBP for consultants
· 350 GBP for junior doctors, fellows
· 250 GBP for nurses and allied health professionals.
For all participants: will have to complete the mechanical ventilation course online on the ESPNIC website (will open in February). We also recommend studying the Handbook of Paediatric and Neonatal Mechanical Ventilation from the ESPNIC website.
